WAITING
FOR TOMORROW
A PHAT Network Films Production.
PHAT
Network is an artists network based out of Los Angeles California
dedicated to showcasing new independent talent through the
use of the Internet and live events around Southern California.
Some of these events include The Lost Angeles Film Festival,
LA Unlock'd and The Day Of Voice.
Shortly
after PHAT Network open its doors in December of 1999, founder
George Gomez began the work of creating a network of independent
artists around Southern California with the intent of forming
relationships between artists and finding ways in which
PHAT Network could bring forth an avenue for expression that
was not previously available to them. The
result has been overwhelming with a broad range of artists
coming down the pipeline. Such artists includes, independent
filmmakers, musicians, DJs, event promoters/organizers, spoken
word artists, actors, dancers, photographers, and the list
goes on. Most of the relationships that Gomez has built, have
been through special events where various talent have been
able to showcase their works to a live audience. And with all
its success the goal for Gomez of showcasing raw unique talent
to the world has not changed. PHAT Network is currently looking
to express and expand their creative goals through feature
films and the Internet. For more information on PHAT Network

WAITING
FOR TOMORROW is
PHAT Network's feature debut. Written by George
Gomez, it combines both the rawness and independent spirit
that people have come to expect from a PHAT Network production.
Focused around the lives of homeless teenagers living
in the streets of Los Angeles and working together with
the Los Angeles Youth Network non-profit
organization, Gomez sets out to make a film that is raw,
expressive and down-to-earth about teenage
homelessness in America. The approach of teaming up with LAYN and
other active members of the Los Angeles community has
helped
WAITING
FOR TOMORROW establish
itself as a powerful film with an inside look to the many lives
of homeless teenagers living in the streets of major cities
around the country.
